Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient Perinatal Diagnostic Program, requiring RDMS (OB/GYN) certification and 2+ years of OB/GYN sonography experience.

Details

• Outpatient high-risk and low-risk obstetric and gynecologic imaging clinic
• Unit features 6 exam rooms/suites
• Patient volume of 8 to 10 patients per sonographer daily
• Patient population includes all age groups with OB (low and high risk) and GYN diagnoses
• Uses Epic (Radiant) EMR
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with early finish on Fridays (7:30 AM to 1:00 PM)
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
• No schedule rotation or self-scheduling

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience
• RDMS certification (OB/GYN) required
• Fetal Echo certification preferred but not required
• Florida license required if applicable
• Comfortable working in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment

Additional Information

• Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging as the primary focus of the role
• 3 days of unit orientation provided
• Unit manager interview required, with an additional interview by the MFM provider
• Gray scrub color required with closed-toe, non-permeable shoes
• Minimal jewelry and nail polish required; hair and beard must be professional and well maintained
• Local candidates accepted
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• First-time travelers not considered for this position
• Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening may take up to 14 business days to process
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required, with medical exemption requests allowed for the 2026-2027 season
