As we grow, we’re looking for a Director of Talent and Culture who can elevate our people experience and help build a workplace where ambitious, creative humans do the best work of their lives.

This leader will shape everything from how new talent first meets us to how they grow, thrive, and stay. They will strengthen the systems that support performance and accountability while fiercely protecting the entrepreneurial, collaborative, culture‑forward environment that makes this agency special. They bring clarity, energy, and structure without ever killing the vibe.

This position reports directly to the Founder and works closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the agency’s people systems, culture, and operational rhythm move in sync.

Key Responsibilities

HR, Benefits and Compensation

• Own day to day HR operations including employee records, onboarding, offboarding, and policy management
• Manage health, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits programs and ensure employees understand and can access their benefits
• Lead open enrollment, vendor relationships, and annual renewals
• Support compensation benchmarking and help maintain competitive and equitable pay structures
• Ensure compliance with employment law and keep policies current and well communicated
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR questions and support needs

Attract, Develop and Retain Exceptional Talent

• Lead recruiting across the agency from workforce planning through hiring and onboarding
• Partner with leadership to identify talent needs and build strong, diverse pipelines
• Develop strategies to attract top talent aligned with our values, culture, and ambitions
• Create a thoughtful, consistent, and memorable candidate experience
• Strengthen the agency’s employer brand within marketing, communications, digital, influencer, and creator driven industries
• Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and effectiveness
• Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and overall team experience
• Reinforce company values and expectations through programs and communication
• Build development, recognition, and career growth programs that help employees thrive
• Help the agency adapt to the needs and expectations of emerging generations
• Use employee feedback and insights to identify opportunities for improvement

Build Scalable Talent Programs

• Own and continuously improve onboarding, manager training, professional development, and leadership development
• Create clear career paths and development frameworks across the agency
• Build practical tools, resources, and processes that help managers lead effectively
• Ensure all talent programs scale smoothly as the agency grows

Drive Performance and Accountability

• Manage the agency’s performance review process and annual talent calendar
• Ensure reviews, goal setting, and development conversations happen consistently and on time
• Partner with department leaders to elevate the quality and consistency of feedback
• Track participation, identify gaps, and follow up to ensure accountability
• Support leadership with talent planning and employee development discussions

Culture and In Office Presence

• Serve as a visible, positive, energizing presence in the office
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the agency
• Help create experiences, rituals, celebrations, and traditions that strengthen connection and community
• Champion a culture that feels connected, creative, and full of momentum

Qualifications

• Ten plus years of HR, Talent, or People Operations experience within creative environments including creative agencies, marketing firms, influencer or creator companies, digital content studios, or other fast moving, idea driven organizations
• Experience leading recruiting, benefits administration, talent development, and performance management programs
• Hands on experience managing office operations or executive support functions
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship building skills
• Proven ability to build people programs for small or mid-sized organizations with a builder mindset focused on performance, retention, and growth without unnecessary bureaucracy
• Comfortable in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and able to balance strategic thinking with hands on execution
• Genuine passion for developing people, strengthening culture, and helping teams succeed
