Job Description
Registered Nurse - IV Therapy Vascular Access Team

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required sometimes more than every other.

Assignment Details

Travel experience required; seasoned travelers preferred. Position will float between units based on needs.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• Experience in vascular/PICC nursing
• Knowledge of sterile dressing changes, peripheral IV placement, ultrasound-guided IV placement, and troubleshooting of vascular access
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Must have a vehicle for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular access procedures including IV placements and PICC line insertions.
• Conduct sterile dressing changes and manage vascular access lines.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in electronic medical records.
• Address and troubleshoot issues related to vascular access as they arise.
• Provide education to patients and staff regarding vascular access procedures.
