Senior Software Engineer – Stoic Warrior Program BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer for our Stoic Warrior program. This position is hybrid with up to four days per week on‑site. What You Can Expect To Do Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes‑based microservices using Python, Go, JavaScript, React, and other programming languages. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a React JavaScript frontend. Utilize open source technologies for continuous deployment, event‑driven automation, and efficient infrastructure management. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines. Write clean, well‑documented code, and maintain code quality through code reviews and best practices. Optimize software for maximum performance, scalability, and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications. Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs). Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. Ensure security and compliance standards are met by the software. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software development. Team Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years experience. Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies. Proficiency in Python, C++, Go, or Javascript programming languages. Familiarity with modern software development technologies and practices, including CI/CD pipeline and microservices architecture. Active TS/SCI Clearance (US Citizenship Required). Team Prefers Experience developing software in classified environments. Experience developing software architectures that enable and support signal processing capabilities. Deep experience building containerized Python applications using Docker. Hands‑on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes, with strong familiarity in writing and customizing Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and ArgoCD configurations. Practical experience with AWS services. Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code such as Terraform. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts, requirements, and system designs to customers, including nontechnical stakeholders. Experience participating in customer meetings, technical deepdives, architecture discussions, and design reviews. Experience creating technical documentation, diagrams, and presentations as deliveries to customers.
