The Full Time Team Member represent Chick-fil-A by providing 2nd Mile Service to each of our Guests within the restaurant. Willingness, Ability, and Availability are the foundation for success in this role. In support of Chick-fil-A’s Shared Vision of being the world's most caring company, this individual helps differentiate Chick-fil-A from others in the industry by actively contributing to the following 4 Focus Areas:
Extending Genuine Hospitality by:
- Creating moments of personalized care for Guests
- Treating all Guests with honor, dignity and respect
- Displaying the Core 4
- Applying the HEARD Model when recovering Guests
Delivering Great Food by:
- Separating raw and ready-to-eat foods
- Keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold
- Using date and label stickers consistently
- Following the recipes per Pathway procedures
- Honoring all hold times
- Using LEAN production systems
Providing Fast & Accurate Service by:
- Working with a sense of urgency
- Confirming orders
- Double checking bags
- Providing all needed and requested items
- Maintaining two-way communication
Maintaining a Clean & Safe Environment by:
- Abiding by the Restaurant Health Policy
- Following Appearance and Apparel Standards
- Washing hands frequently and changing gloves between tasks
- Removing trash and clutter
- Finding and fixing safety hazards
- Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting
Skills and Requirements
-Have a positive attitude
-Work as a team
- Be able to walk over seven hours a day while carrying up to 50 pounds
- Have the ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, bend, reach, crouch and twist throughout the day
- Work without the need for breaks of any kind for at least 2 hours at a time
- Tolerate high levels of heat exposure for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Move with a high sense of urgency
- Balance while carrying items
- Quick reflexes and the ability to adapt to changing situations
- Walking and running short distances
- Endurance for repetitive tasks
- Agility in navigating tight spaces
As a condition of employment, you are required to meet the physical demands essential to the performance of your duties. These demands include, but are not limited to what is listed above under "Physical Abilities". Your ability to fulfill these physical requirements is a critical component of your role. In the event that you are unable to meet these physical demands at any time during your employment, you will be restricted from work until you are once again able to meet all of the requirements of your position.
