More about our team The RN House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical leadership for hospital operations during assigned shifts. This role coordinates patient care activities, supports nursing staff, manages staffing and patient flow, responds to emergencies, and serves as the primary clinical resource in the absence of department leadership . - Provide operational oversight of hospital departments during assigned shifts
- Coordinate staffing assignments based on census, acuity, and patient care needs
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing and ancillary staff
- Support patient throughput, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Respond to and coordinate emergency situations, rapid responses, and critical incidents
- Monitor patient care standards and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate communication between departments, providers, patients, and families
- Assist with conflict resolution, service recovery, and patient concerns
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and administrative reports as required

- Education : Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred, Associates required
- Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred, but must have within 30 days of hire.
