Credentialed Veterinary Technician

VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital is hiring a a full time Certified Veterinary Technician (or experienced VA) to help support our growing hospital team.

Our AAHA-accredited, 12-doctor general and exotics practice is located in a new facility just 20 minutes north of Boston and 20 minutes south of New Hampshire.

• More than half of our 65 associates are Fear Free Certified, and we'll pay for your online Fear Free and Veterinary Technician training.
• We see 54% dogs, 24% cats, and 22% exotics (including reptiles, birds, small mammals, and aquatics).
• Only about 15% of animal hospitals are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, a distinction we've held for more than 40 years.

Schedule: Full time, (5) days a week (4) day work week available, all assocaites share shift rotation of day, swing, closing, and weekend shifts.

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.00 / hour is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.
