Located in Lancaster, CA and close to the Edwards community, this full-time position allows you to impact young lives, while working with a supportive educational team. Secure your assignment from August 13, 2026, through June 9, 2027.
As a valued educator, you'll experience highly competitive compensation ranging from $40 to $55 per hour, with weekly pay—designed to reward your dedication and expertise.
What We're Looking For:
- Active California teaching credential in mild/moderate special education (required)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children
- Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
- Ability to effectively differentiate instruction and support various learning needs
- Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments
- Team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instruction tailored for 4th–6th grade students with mild/moderate learning differences
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success
- Manage caseload by writing, reviewing, and updating IEPs as required
- Employ best practices for classroom management, accommodation, and behavioral strategies
- Collect data and report on student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional practice
