We work together to win, grow, and make a real impact—supported by a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative environment where you can be your best, every day.The Coleman Company, Inc.Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Associate Department: Wichita Packaging Reports To: Quality Manager FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Prepared Date: August 2023 Updated: August 2023 Summary: Performs various duties as assigned within the Shipping Department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Gets job instructionsHandles material to and from designated areas and workstationsGets work station equipment ready for productionOperates material transporting equipment (Forklift) to convey materials and products between warehouses, stock departments, and production departmentsCounts, packages and/or crates and identifies parts and productsMay work in groups or individually as assignedPerforms own reworkMaintains quality standardsReports all product shortagesMaintains materials and product location systemFills orders from stockAffixes proper identification to productsDetermines loading sequence and loads transportation units in accordance with schedulesBlocks units as necessaryVerifies count, part number, and signs or secures signature for received or shipped materialsControls inventory levels by monitoring reorder points and initiating action to replenish stockPerforms data entry duties as needed in SAPAssists in taking inventoryObserves reports damaged materials or items needing back orderedCompletes all necessary paperworkServices material transporting equipmentMaintains quality standardsMaintains courteous and professional manner when in contact with customer/consumer and other departmentsKeeps work station in orderObserves safety rulesSupports team objectivesOther duties as assignedValid Forklift license or ability to get oneData entry skills, SAP experience preferredStock picker skills preferredMay work overtime as neededSupervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Competencies:Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.Teamwork: Contributes to building a positive work environment.
