Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey
• Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments while monitoring patient responses
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with oncologists and the care team to develop individualized treatment approaches
• Monitor vital signs and manage symptoms to ensure patient comfort and safety

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of oncology medications and treatment protocols
• Excellent patient education and communication abilities
• Ability to provide emotional support during challenging times
• Skilled in IV therapy and symptom management
