Sr. Government Health Actuary We will count on you to: Participate in routine client engagements, managing overall service delivery and strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, and more Draft and review client reports and presentations to summarize findings and implications, and recommend strategies and solutions to the client Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools. Perform and review complex analyses and cost projects by using or modifying existing tools and pricing models, and review analyses conducted by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness and correct use of models Handle day-to-day client contact and management, resolving any project-related questions and challenges, and guide junior staff members in client interactions Assist senior team members in the development of the business by identifying potential areas of growth in existing projects, and provide assistance in responding to requests for information or proposals What you need to have: BA/BS degree 5+ years health actuarial experience, with 3+ years of Medicaid leadership actuarial experience Ability to handle client and project management in a demanding work environment with tight deadlines What makes you stand out? All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person. The applicable base salary range for this role is $93,500 to $187,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
