Position Summary The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the hardware, equipment, and services needed to support Cirrascale's data center operations. This role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and vendors to ensure materials are purchased cost‑effectively, delivered on time, and aligned with business priorities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing supplier relationships within a fast‑paced technology environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing Source and purchase hardware, software, equipment, and operational supplies. Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timely approvals. Monitor order status, deliveries, and vendor performance. Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with suppliers. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and identify new sourcing opportunities. Inventory & Asset Management Partner with Operations to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Coordinate purchasing activities to support customer deployments and infrastructure projects. Assist with inventory planning, asset tracking, and lifecycle management. Work with Logistics to ensure timely receipt and distribution of purchased equipment. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Data Center teams to understand purchasing needs and priorities. Resolve purchasing issues, delivery delays, and vendor concerns. Support budgeting, forecasting, and procurement planning. Process Improvement & Reporting Develop and improve procurement processes and documentation. Track purchasing metrics, cost savings, and vendor performance. Maintain accurate procurement records and contract documentation. Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce costs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or sourcing experience. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Experience managing purchase orders and supplier relationships. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Preferred Qualifications Experience in data center, cloud, IT infrastructure, or technology environments. Experience with ERP, inventory management, or procurement systems.
