Physical Therapist - Day Shift (5x8.0)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with their needs and physician direction. This role focuses on ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate an effective return to community activities while serving as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to overcome barriers to discharge, including equipment trialing and training.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions efficiently.
• Maintain clear, concise, and timely medical record documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in professional development activities to remain current in the field.
• Advocate for patient and professional needs in various forums.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and complete state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• Must hold a valid, current State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient rehab or neuro settings.

Schedule

This position is a full-time role with a day shift schedule, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation as needed.
