Lead Java AWS Developer wanted by American Express Global Business Travel in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient applications on AWS infrastructure Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process Utilizing Java programming language to build high‑quality solutions that meet business requirements Leveraging AWS services such as Step Functions, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation to architect and deploy applications Containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating containers using Kubernetes Writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing production environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance Qualifications Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field. Five (5) years of experience in the Travel industry Five (5) years of experience with AS400 Three (3) years of experience with Jira Two (2) years of experience with AWS Two (2) years of experience with Java Work Arrangement MAY WORK FROM HOME WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE TO OFFICE.
