Before and After Care Assistant Group Supervisor

Your MissionAs a Before and After Care Assistant Group Supervisor at City Center YMCA (265 Harrisburg Avenue, Lancaster), you’ll help power a safe, high-energy start and finish to kids’ school days—on a consistent split shift (6:45–8:30 AM and 3:00–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday). Pay is $15.00–$16.00/hour.You will:- Lead engaging activities by following program plans and implementing curriculum- Supervise children and the classroom- Use positive guidance and reinforcement to support behavior and belonging- Follow safety, emergency, and infection-control procedures- Communicate clearly with children and parents; complete required documentationYou bring:- Knowledge of early childhood education/child development and classroom management- Strong relationship-building and communication skills- Mandated Reporter training (or ability to obtain)- Pediatric First Aid/CPR & AED certification (or ability to obtain)- Ability to pass State Police, Child Abuse, NSOR, and FBI clearancesReady to jump in and make mornings and afternoons matter?
