Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Perform cybersecurity assessments and audits for utility clients.
Conduct cybersecurity risk analysis and gap assessments.
Design and deploy cybersecurity solutions based on industry standards and best practices.
Develop and document cybersecurity policies, procedures, and plans.
Configure and install cybersecurity tools and systems including firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and authentication.
Perform vulnerability scanning, review cybersecurity frameworks, and support incident response.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for cybersecurity issues.
Monitor and report on cybersecurity performance and compliance.
Train and educate staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
Research and stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.

Essentials:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the utility sector.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO, and NERC.
Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and VPN.
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and team members.
Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.

Desired:

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GSEC.
