Position Summary The mission of Material Technology is to provide SAS FAB with the highest quality raw materials & analysis in the world. The Systems Engineer - Supplier Management is responsible for development, improvement and maintaining engineering applications to support the Material Technology Team. They will work with Material engineers to identify and develop processes that allow improvements to performance and efficiency. Material Technology takes on responsibilities that seem beyond our scope to make things better for SAS. We generate and analyze data. We solve problems and get results. Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For: Performroutinemonitoringofsystemusage,speed,accuracy. Provideautomatedsolutionsforfactoryqualityissuestoimprovedetectability,standardizingresponse,and/orstreamliningtasks. Manageparallelprojectsinadynamicenvironment,withconflictingprioritiesandchangingscope. IdentifyinnovativesolutionstomaterialsupplierchallengesandperformROIandriskassessmentfornewassignments. Identifyanddriveoperationalimprovementprojectstostreamlineandchallengethestatusquo. SupportmaterialrelatedFABinvestigationsthroughdataanalysis;providedataconnectionsbetweendifferentdatastoragelocations. Completeprojectswithstrongattentiontodetail;submitregularandspecialreportsasrequiredtosupportdepartmentKPI. CreateFunctionalRequirementdocumentstoexplainapplicationsdeveloped,userguidesformemberstoutilizeapplications. Here’s what you'll need: Bachelorof,SciencedegreeinComputerEngineering,ElectricalEngineering,ChemicalEngineering,MaterialScience,Physics,oranequivalentdiscipline. 5+yearsofexperience. Strongleadership,communication,andproblem-solvingskills. Experienceinscriptinglanguages(Python,GIT,VBA). Datastreamserverknowledge(API,SQL,PostGres). Experiencecodingwebappsand/orwebsites(Javascript,HTML,Node,react,Vue). Possesssoftwareorganizationalmethods(coderevision,bugpatching,releasenotes)GIT. The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
