NICU Nurse PositionHospital: Mountain View HospitalLocation: Payson, UtahAddress: 1000 E 100 N St, Payson UT - Unit Name: NICUBuilding: One Building - Cost Center: 67521General InformationUnit Specifics:Number of Beds: 5, one of which is a negative pressure room, take babies back up to 30 days oldPatient Ratios: 1:1 for CPAP Otherwise 1:2, occasionally 1:3 if feeder growersUnit staffing description: There are two NICU on at all times. One would be in the NICU if have a NICU baby and one on mother baby. But would never be alone. No secretary for NICU but have a tech for women’s, our NICU do catch and transition babies at delivery and may work mother baby most of the time. We are a small unit and labor, PP and NICU are all close together and work together.Type of equipment: No ventilators, transfer if vented, take 32 weeks and above. OG’s, IVs Hi Flow, CPAP, PANDA warmers and Giraffe warmers.Documentation system: CPNScheduling requirements: 3 shifts a weekFloating policy: Working mother baby mostly, Have NICU about 50 a year and then would work NICU when NICU babies are there.Patient Experience requirements: Press GaneyHospital Specifics:Certifications: NRP, STABLEHiring profileRequested Skill Set: NICU and mother baby if there are nurses available.
