We are seeking someone who is compassionate and detail-oriented to join our team and support healthcare professionals in providing top-notch medical services to our community.Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following)Accurately prepare new patient profilesLimited designated technical and clerical tasks associated with the preparation, labeling, and dispensing of medications.Proficiently operate the cash register which may include opening/closing functionsAccurately/correctly utilizes the pharmacy operation's computer software systemEffectively performs and accurately records all assigned quality control activities based on established procedures/protocolsContinuously demonstrates and achieves all established customer service standardsAnswers the telephone, triages to appropriate person, and takes messagesAssist in ensuring the pharmacy and related equipment are cleaned and maintained based on established policy and proceduresStrictly maintains all pharmacy established Quality Assurance activitiesMaintains necessary work skills and knowledge by reviewing the literature and attending in-services, seminars, and etc.Follows established channels of authority and communication throughout the organizationAttends designated departmental meetingsAdherence to all policies and procedures regarding pharmacy servicesAny other additional duties that are reasonably requested which include operating cash register and opening/closing pharmacy operations.Good knowledge of retail pharmacy procedures, practices and equipment relating to operating a cash register and pharmacy clerical support job functionsDemonstrates strong customer service skillsAbility to effectively and professionally represent the companyStrong ability to positively interact with other people e.g. company customersSome knowledge of principles and practices of pharmacy business administrationSome knowledge of functions, organizations and governing laws and regulations of pharmacyGood analytical and problem solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work and interact with departments throughout the organizationOther duties as assignedEducation And/Or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of one year's experience in retail pharmacy as a pharmacy sales support/clerk/cashier positionPossess a working knowledge of basic drug terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and drug use
