Senior Director, Data Integration and Automation - Hybrid
Merck
Senior Director role leading data integration and automation strategy across enterprise information management, data governance, and program management. Responsible for multi-year strategy, organizational design, vendor oversight, and ensuring compliant, automation-ready standards that enable frictionless data flow across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead program management operating model, team structure, and communication frameworks at scale
- Develop multi-year strategy translating organizational objectives into sequenced programs and funding priorities
- Establish vendor governance frameworks, performance metrics, and executive business review processes
- Define KPI and KQI strategies with analytics dashboards to track quality, time, and cost benefits
- Build and chair governance forums, manage escalations, and represent teams in enterprise risk reviews
Requirements
- Expertise in information management systems, organization design, and operating model scaling
- Proven track record defining multi-year strategy and governing investments with measurable ROI
- Experience with standards and process governance models with executive review frameworks
- Resource strategy leadership including portfolio management, location, capability, and supplier planning
- Enterprise-level vendor strategy and governance with performance management dashboards
- Knowledge of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making
- Comprehensive understanding of global regulatory frameworks and technology compliance requirements
