Position Overview:

Our organization is looking for an Ob/Gyn to join our expanding team of 12 Ob/Gyns and eleven WHNPs. With a significant investment of $130 million aimed at enhancing women and children’s services, our growing array of obstetric, gynecologic, and pediatric offerings will support a vibrant community-based practice, backed by specialists from a renowned medical school.

Handling over 2,900 deliveries annually, we boast the most active obstetrics program in the area. Alongside a newly constructed state-of-the-art Women & Children’s Hospital, our facility features a modern surgical department equipped with 15 surgical suites and two dedicated C-section rooms within the labor and delivery unit. Our comprehensive obstetrics services include a 13-bed NICU staffed by three maternal-fetal medicine specialists, lactation consultants, and amenities for new mothers such as complimentary massages and room service.

As a teaching institution, we provide the chance to collaborate with residents and medical students. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to apply for an academic appointment with a local medical college.

• Deliver medical care related to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.
• Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the female reproductive system.
• Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears and breast assessments.
• Perform ultrasounds, fetal monitoring, and prenatal screenings.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and associated complications.
• Execute gynecological surgeries, including C-sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic procedures.
• Provide evaluations and treatments for fertility issues.
• Diagnose and manage menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
• Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, and menopause management.
• Address and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including nurses, midwives, and specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans.
• Stay informed about advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Provide emergency care for obstetric and gynecological emergencies.

We offer a highly competitive salary structure with wRVU production and additional incentives. Our extensive benefits package includes:

• $342,449 - $400,309

• MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Active medical license in Illinois and an active DEA license, or the ability to obtain these licenses prior to or upon hiring.
