Construction Superintendent

BAM Workforce Solutions is partnering with a top contractor building out their field leadership team for utility-scale projects in West Texas and beyond in search of a Construction Superintendent to join their organization. Overview: Serve as the lead company representative on-site, directing and coordinating all electrical group activities across every phase of the project. Own job site safety and QA/QC from day one. Stay ahead of the schedule by anticipating conflicts between crafts and understanding how tasks affect one another before they become problems. Keep daily work moving by monitoring progress, evaluating your team, and stepping in to course correct when needed. Work through General Foremen and Foremen for detailed craft execution while maintaining overall oversight and direction. Resolve scheduling problems and work priority conflicts with employees and customer representatives directly and effectively. Set clear expectations for every subordinate and hold them accountable to output, quality, safety, and training standards. Handle the administrative side of the role including report writing, policy administration, performance appraisals, wage recommendations, and disciplinary action in consultation with management. Respond decisively when the job throws something unexpected at you. Requirements: 7+ years of experience supervising heavy industrial electrical projects involving layout, installation, construction, and maintenance work. Field and project experience with voltage systems up to 500kV. Utility construction experience is required. Foreman or General Foreman background strongly preferred as a stepping stone into this role. Battery storage, solar, or transmission and distribution experience a plus. Experience transitioning from oil and gas to utility or renewable construction welcomed. Strong safety culture mindset with the ability to lead by example every day on site.
