Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff and drivers to ensure safe and efficient daily operations.
• Train employees on warehouse procedures, GMPs, allergen awareness, and safety practices.
• Develop work schedules and coordinate daily assignments to meet operational needs.
• Foster a team environment focused on safety, accountability, and productivity.

Production & Operational Oversight

• Manage warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate inbound freight, outbound shipments, and returns to ensure timely delivery and service.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records for raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Ensure proper receiving procedures including verification of product quantities and condition.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage and ensure materials are handled and stored appropriately.
• Operate warehouse equipment and support material transfers between company locations as needed.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company food safety standards.
• Maintain proper stock rotation using FIFO and ensure allergen separation requirements are followed.
• Promote workplace safety by ensuring proper use of PPE and safe operation of warehouse equipment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Management teams to support operational goals.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and suppliers to schedule freight and material deliveries.
• Communicate inventory needs and operational updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations; food manufacturing preferred.
• 3+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility with work schedules as operational needs require.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse and food manufacturing environment with exposure to material handling equipment and storage areas. Personal protective equipment may be required.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
