General Description

A Staff Physician - Obstetrics & Gynecology represents the highest level of clinical expertise, medical decision making and surgical skills at Scripps Clinic. Staff Physicians in Obstetrics & Gynecology are expected to have the highest standards for clinical and surgical capability, professional education, quality improvement and overall patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care to patients including ancillary tests, labor and delivery, surgeries, and procedures.

• Participates in departmental clinical care quality assurance activities.

• Takes call and shares hospital duties as determined by the Medical Director - Obstetrics & Gynecology.

• Maintains professional education and/or clinical research activities.

• Participates in Obstetrics & Gynecology program development.

Compensation:

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Clinic Medical Group posts the pay range for our open positions. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience within the pay range. Range based on experience: $370,000-$393,000.
