Financial Additions is searching for a degreed Senior Accountant for a contract-to-hire, hybrid position in Addison, TX. This role will include financial reporting, analysis, reconciliations, multi-entity accounting, cost allocation improvements, and helping to optimize efficiencies within the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and entity-level reporting
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure GL accuracy
- Calculate and report Cost of Sales by Entity.
- Prepare detailed Profit and Loss statements
- Manage Capital Expenditure reporting and analysis.
- Conduct variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Manage rebate accounting and cost allocations
- Support audits, internal controls, and GAAP compliance
- Identify process improvements and assist with special projects
- Review work and provide guidance to junior accounting staff (but no direct reports)
Qualifications include:
- 4+ years in senior accounting role
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and financial analysis
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
