Service BDC Representative

Chevrolet of Troy is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to customers to schedule and confirm service appointments.
• Answer inbound customer calls and assist with scheduling service appointments.
• Follow up with customers regarding recommended and due maintenance.
• Contact customers with open service opportunities and encourage them to return for needed repairs or maintenance.
• Accurately schedule appointments according to customer needs and service department availability.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience on every call.
• Maintain accurate customer information and call notes in the dealership CRM.
• Follow up on missed appointments, declined services, and other customer opportunities.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the Service Department to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Meet daily and monthly appointment-setting and performance goals.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and confident phone presence.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, and scheduling software.
• Previous automotive, dealership, call center, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
