Quality Assurance Manager

Leading the team of QA Technicians and overseeing Quality programs at the Atlanta, GA facility. Responsible for ensuring adherence to company and government regulations. Tasked with evaluating all aspects of quality performance, including raw materials, production, packaging, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and enhance Safety Culture to uphold Food Safety standards and promote a safe workplace environment

• Uphold Food Safety Practices and maintain SQF certification by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Procedures, SQF requirements, and ensuring proper housekeeping. Plant readiness for inspections and tours is crucial.

• Support the plant's SQF certification program to maintain high-quality standards.

• Enforce QA policies, procedures, and guidelines for compliance, offering feedback and oversight for corrective actions when necessary

• Provide coaching and guidance to QA Technicians to oversee plant quality processes and procedures effectively

• Focus on the continuous improvement of the Quality at the Source program, ensuring its efficacy and empowering Processing and Packaging Team Members to conduct their quality checks

• Facilitate communication between departments to identify and address production process issues

• Generate reports and provide regular updates to management on business operations

• Execute various tasks as directed by the Quality Assurance Department Manager

• Ensure compliance with corporate standards for monitoring food safety, quality, and facility cleanliness

• Demonstrate commitment to safety by fostering a culture of Safety from management to frontline supervisors, ensuring a safe work environment
