At ITEC, we don't just care for our employees—we champion them with competitive salaries, an outstanding employee care program, and a benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, and a 401k match.U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation.Job Responsibilities:Developing and implementing one or more MIL STD 882E compliant system safety programsPerforming MIL STD 882 System Safety Program tasks and analyses, involving management (task series 100), analysis (task series 200), evaluation (task series 300), and verification (task series 400).Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.Coordinating with customer safety representatives applying methods, standards, and techniques to provide clarification of system requirements to software, hardware, and test personnel to ensure design and architecture considerations are appropriately allocated to the system and horizontally integrated across the development teams.Collaborating with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through production to demilitarization and disposal backgrounds.Performing System Safety planning, hazard analyses, and design analyses.Briefing safety considerations at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process.Interpreting system requirements, customer specifications and military standards.Preparing internal and customer reports describing various analyses relevant to the System Safety program.Collaborating across multiple disciplines to gain a full understanding of product architecture and design.Interfacing with other engineering functions: Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering Managing System Safety Working Group(s) between key Raytheon and Customer representatives.ITEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of ManpowerGroup Public Sector.
