Foundry Employee Level 2 – Heat TreatReports To: Foundry SupervisorDuties and Responsibilities:Wear all PPE requiredFollow all GIW Safety GuidelinesKeep area neat, clean and safeAchieve and perform all job requirements in Heat Treat Level 1Basic computer skillsAble to read and understand the heat treat work instructionsAble to choose the correct oven program (recipe)Able to use the controller at the oven and from a computerStart the ovens and roll out when requiredLift tip up oven roof when requiredAble to understand when the oven needs to cool down and then run outOperate quench fans when neededKnow when to start second oven cycleAble to use temperature guns safely and proficientlyFollow all instructions directed by team leads and supervisorsEducation: High School Diploma or GEDPhysical Requirements:Frequently:Standing, walking, sitting, bending, squatting, stoopingLifting, pushing, and pulling <75 lbs.Occasionally:Overhead workClimbing ladders or stairsDriving forkliftsOperating cranesGIW Industries, Inc.
