Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The role entails delegating and directing all discipline‑specific therapy services and ensuring functional treatment programs that facilitate return to community activities. The therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, colleagues, and self while maintaining compliance with the Code of Conduct, professional standards, and core values. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals using clinical reasoning. Document medical records clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide quality care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval. Participate in the student program as assigned, offering a positive learning environment. Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue ongoing professional education. Adhere to discipline‑specific State Practice Act and maintain active professional licensure. Demonstrate awareness of performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback for enhanced outcomes. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active state license for practice as a Physical Therapist.
