Machine Adjuster TraineeOur client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in converting equipment, is seeking a Machine Adjuster Trainee to join their dedicated team. As a Machine Adjuster Trainee, you will be part of the Production Department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Mount Pleasant, PAPay Range: $19.77/hr2nd Shift: 3pm – 11pm; Monday – FridayWhat's the Job?Set up and adjust various types of converting equipment for safe and efficient operation.Perform start-up, adjustments involving close tolerances, maintenance, and troubleshooting; change window rolls (overhead).Assist in training new adjusters/operators and provide coverage when needed.Examine products to ensure quality standards are met and minimize waste.Perform preventative maintenance to ensure consistent quality production and maintain a clean work environment.What's Needed?High School diploma or equivalent.Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Minimum of 1 year of relevant mechanical experience or schooling.Basic math skills and the ability to read a ruler accurately.Basic computer skills and flexibility with machine assignments.What's in it for me?Starting pay at $19.77/hr with a 2nd shift premium of $0.20/hr.Progressive pay increases every 6 months, with qualified candidates earning $21.98/hr at the end of training.Opportunity to develop valuable mechanical skills and advance within the organization.Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality.Overtime opportunities as needed to support production goals.Upon completion of waiting period, associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
