Instrumentation / Analyzer Technician - Experienced

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and install instruments, electronic devices, computer digital equipment, analyzers, and electrical equipment. Maintain and repair electronic and pneumatic instrumentation. Maintain and repair analyzer systems. Possess advanced knowledge of instrumentation math, units, variables, and dimensions of measurement. Demonstrate knowledge of flow, pressure, temperature, level instrumentation, and control power systems. Maintain and troubleshoot switches, meters, indicators, temperature sensors, positioners, controllers, and control valves. Use test equipment and perform routine calibrations; maintain instrumentation loops. Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and wiring schematics. Plan and coordinate work following appropriate work orders, work permits, and safety instructions. Perform work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years instrumentation experience required. Associate's degree in instrumentation preferred. NCCER certification preferred. Able and willing to work on‑site and in‑person. Additional Requirements All successful candidates must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and must wear it at all times while working at the refinery.
