Maintenance Technician Warehouse

NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in Dallas, Texas. Base Pay Rate: $26.00/hour. Shift: 2nd Shift/Rotating Shift. Schedule: First week Monday -Thursday - 5:30pm - 3:00am & Sunday 11:00pm - 3:00am. Second Monday -Thursday - 7:30pm to 5:00am & Sunday 11:00pm to 5:00am.

Job Summary

Maintenance Tech maintains safety, quality, and production by ensuring operation of facility and machinery & mechanical equipment. Job duties will include hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, automation, &/or fabrication. Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity on a daily basis.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Insures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions to ensure machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.

Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using measurement equipment.

Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

Repair or replace defective equipment and/or parts, using hand tools, power tools, and reassemble equipment.

Use tools ranging from common hand/power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.

Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

Must possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Must have basic computer knowledge

Must have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience

Hydraulic, electrical, & mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities and problem solving skills are preferred
