Data Pipeline / Modern Data Stack Engineer

Job Title:: Data Pipeline / Modern Data Stack Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months

We are looking for candidates who have hands-on experience building and scaling data infrastructure in early-stage or high-growth companies, rather than individuals who have only worked within large enterprise environments with highly mature data systems.


The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and maintaining modern data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs across the organization.

Core Responsibilities
• Design and build scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and model data from multiple sources.
• Implement and maintain modern ELT workflows to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Integrate data from various internal and external systems to support product, marketing, and operational insights.
• Partner with business stakeholders and analytics teams to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and well-structured for BI tools.
• Optimize and maintain data workflows as the company scales.

Required Technical Experience
• Strong experience working within an AWS-based data ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
• Experience with data ingestion and pipeline tools such as Fivetran, Airflow, and Airbyte.
• Proficiency using dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience supporting BI and analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Mode, etc.).
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured and semi-structured data.

Preferred Background
• Experience working at startups or scaling companies where the data infrastructure was being built or significantly improved.
• Comfortable working in lean teams with a high level of ownership over data architecture and pipeline design.
• Experience integrating multiple SaaS platforms, product data sources, and operational systems.
