Utility Worker

UTILITY WORKER $20.50/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain production equipment according to established sanitation procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment parts to ensure thorough cleaning and proper functioning.
• Apply safe chemical handling practices when using cleaning and sanitizing agents.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of sanitation throughout the production and food manufacturing areas.
• Support food safety and quality by consistently sanitizing equipment and work areas.
• Monitor equipment and workspaces for cleanliness and promptly address any sanitation issues.
• Work collaboratively with production and sanitation teams to meet cleaning schedules and production needs.
• Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety guidelines in the facility.
• Document and report any equipment, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Essential Skills

• Previous sanitation experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures in food production and food manufacturing.
• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Understanding of safe chemical handling practices.
• Experience working in food production or food manufacturing settings.
• Familiarity with sanitation and HACCP-related practices.
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment parts for cleaning.
• Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation.
• Ability to work effectively on a production schedule and meet sanitation timelines.

PAY AND SHIFT:
Pay: $20.50/hr
Shift: 2nd shift Monday - Friday (3pm - 11:30pm )

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Throop, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
