ABA Assistant Supervisor

Westlake Village, California, United States Cortica is looking for an Applied Behavior Analysis Assistant Supervisor to join its growing team. The ABA Assistant Supervisor, in collaboration with the ABA Supervisor (BCBA), develops and creates treatment plans, oversees clinical programming, and provides direct clinical supervision to Behavior Technicians (BT). Responsibilities Act as the case manager for assigned ABA cases under the guidance of the ABA Supervisor by applying knowledge in behavior and coordinating client care, developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting as needed. Serve as the primary contact for parents/guardians in each ABA case, educating families and addressing questions. Complete written reports in a timely fashion to meet payer and Cortica requirements. Ensure authorization/contract fulfillment and parent supervision for each client month. Provide direct clinical supervision over BTs and achieve productivity expectations for billable activities. Modify treatment protocols in real time based on client responsiveness and data. Schedule supervision to meet required billable hour expectation and review scheduled hours with supervisor. Set clinical goals, monitor progress, offer feedback and coaching to BTs. Mentor and train BTs, including measuring clinical fidelity. Oversee, evaluate, and assess BT performance and effectiveness. Use session-level data to adjust treatment intensity and instructional methods. Accompany BTs to first session and community outings. Complete session notes and convert billable appointments in CentralReach during session time; otherwise by end of day. Audit BT documentation and session notes per BACB requirements. Participate in monthly quality assurance activities and client interviews to enhance service quality. Provide crisis intervention support during office hours. Participate in site management, training, and workshops. Participate in Clinical Collaboration Meetings as needed. Recommend and facilitate trainings for staff. Assist with client record audits. Deliver supervision through hybrid approach (in-person and telehealth) based on clinical guidelines. Participate in ongoing in-service and professional development. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master’s degree from an APBA accredited program (or 2015 or later ABAI Tier 1, 2a, or 2b program) or a master’s plus behavior analytic coursework. Education must meet current BACB standard to pursue BCBA certification. At least 2 years of ABA experience (in-home and center-based) working with children diagnosed with autism. RBT registration or BCAT certification. Ability to obtain required safety training certification within 90 days of employment. First aid/CPR training or ability to obtain. TB clearance.
