SAP ERP Consultant

Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and design automated tax determination solutions within SAP S/4HANA using condition technique across multiple modules. Cross-Module Integration Ensure seamless integration of tax processes across SAP SD, MM, and FI to support consistent tax treatment throughout the supply chain. Tax Engine Management Configure, maintain, and support integrations between SAP and external tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Sovos. Digital Reporting Compliance Support the implementation of statutory reporting requirements, including real-time reporting, SAF-T, and other regulatory obligations. Business & IT Collaboration Act as the primary liaison between business and IT teams, translating complex tax regulations into functional SAP solutions. Testing & Quality Assurance Lead Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for tax-related enhancements and changes. Issue Resolution & Risk Mitigation Investigate and resolve complex production issues related to tax calculations, interfaces, and e-invoicing processes. Requirements SAP SD/MM Expertise Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP implementation experience, including at least two full project lifecycles as an SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant. SAP FI Integration Knowledge Proven experience integrating SAP SD/MM processes with SAP FI and understanding cross-functional business processes. Indirect Tax Expertise Expert knowledge of SAP indirect tax configuration, including VAT/GST processes and complex EU tax regulations in multinational environments. SAP S/4HANA Experience Experience delivering tax-related solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments and supporting enterprise-wide implementations. Ability to troubleshoot complex tax calculations, interfaces, and integration issues using ABAP debugging techniques. Communication & Problem-Solving Skills Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to resolve complex business challenges. Education & Language Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with fluency in English both written and spoken.
