Contract | Nights | 36–48 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients throughout a designated shift, delivering care consistent with the nursing process and the medical plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate patient care across all applicable age groups, including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Prescribe and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient and family input, incorporating teaching and discharge planning needs.
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff in accordance with their clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes utilizing electronic medical record systems.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS) certification required.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required within 6 months of hire; Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems within the last 5 years strongly preferred; each position listed in work history should indicate the charting system used.
