Flight Paramedic

Role Overview: We are seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide advanced pre-hospital and intra-hospital emergency care during air transport operations. The role involves ensuring patient safety, delivering high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with safety standards and documentation requirements. Key Responsibilities Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly for each flight. Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts. Provide advanced life support care from initial contact through handoff at medical facilities. Maintain competency through ongoing training and education. Keep licensure, certifications, and safety documentation current. Operate and maintain emergency equipment and supplies. Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public. Participate in pre-mission briefings, debriefings, and safety procedures. Assist with pre-mission checklists and support pilot activities as needed. Ensure aircraft safety prior to liftoff and conduct safety briefings. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of three years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings. Current EMT-P license/certification in the relevant states. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma; FP-C within 24 months of hire. Additional preferences include prior flight experience and instructor certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
