Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Kansas SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Experience managing dysphagia evaluations and treatment, tracheostomy and ventilator-related communication, and cognitive-communication disorder interventions preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams preferred.

Assignment Details

• 5 days per week, 32 hours guaranteed (schedule reflects four 8-hour or five-day coverage as determined by facility).
• Facility requires coverage within a skilled nursing environment; candidate may be expected to float to other nearby facilities if needed.
