Interim Director of Health & Wellness (RN/LVN)

Position Summary The Interim Director of Health & Wellness is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations within the community, including assisted living and memory care services. This role will provide leadership, stability, and oversight during a temporary leave of absence, ensuring continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and team performance. This is a temporary leadership assignment with potential for extension based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all clinical operations to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care Supervise and support licensed nurses and caregiving staff, ensuring strong team performance and accountability Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including RCFE requirements and HIPAA standards Ensure proper staffing levels and 24-hour clinical coverage Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation Coordinate care with physicians, home health, hospice, and external providers Support ongoing clinical training and staff development Monitor and maintain medical records and compliance documentation Maintain a visible leadership presence with residents, families, and staff Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to ensure operational success Position Details Interim / Temporary Role Full-time schedule On-call and weekend leadership responsibilities as needed Potential for extension or future opportunities within the organization Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical/Dental/Vision/Supplemental/401k Opportunity to work in a premier coastal community Qualifications Current RN or LVN license in California Minimum 2–3 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care Strong knowledge of geriatric care and regulatory compliance Experience managing clinical teams in a 24/7 environment Ability to step into a leadership role quickly and provide immediate operational stability Strong communication and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr The Seville
