Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Join Our Team at Therapy For Life!

Therapy For Life is a privately owned, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice serving the Houston community for over 20 years. We provide Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a collaborative environment dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential.

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and team-oriented  Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with children, collaborating with experienced therapists, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of families, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing challenges, fine motor delays, and other diagnoses.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, BCBAs, and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
• Educate and support parents and caregivers with home program recommendations.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapy environment.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
• In good standing with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but enthusiastic personalities are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.
