The APEX Power Co. Project in Hubbard, TX, currently under Phase 1 construction, is expected to expand to 1.6 GW. It features a diverse mix of generation technologies, including Siemens SGT-800/400 simple cycle turbines, MAN/Everllence 18V51/60G gas reciprocating engines, GE LM6000/LM2500 simple cycle turbines, Pratt & Whitney FT8 simple cycle turbines, and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), enabling flexible, reliable power output. Future expansion may include additional GE aero and large frame units (6B, 7FA/7FB/7H) in simple or combined cycle configurations, allowing the plant to efficiently meet varying energy demands while supporting data center grid reliability. Opportunity Summary As a Warehouse Specialist at APEX Power Co. You will manage warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and the safe handling of hazardous, delicate, or oversized equipment while supporting maintenance, outages, construction, and commissioning activities. This role directly contributes to the reliable start‑up and operation of a multi‑technology power generation facility, including turbines, engines, and BESS systems, while maintaining strict safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities – Pre‑Commissioning Phase Receive, inspect, stage, and track all construction‑related materials, parts, and equipment to ensure they are available for installation and commissioning activities. Scope of Responsibility – Inventory Procurement and Warehouse Specialist Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and equipment to verify quantity, quality, and compliance with plant standards. Store, handle, and dispose of hazardous, flammable, or regulated materials in accordance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and plant environmental and safety requirements. Organize warehouse spaces to maximize storage efficiency, maintain safe access, and ensure easy retrieval of materials. Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and internal transfers, to support audits and operational readiness. Conduct routine inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records, and report variances to supervisors. Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment to prevent shortages or excess inventory. Safely operate forklifts, hoists, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment for heavy, oversized, or specialized items. Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with plant procedures. Stage materials and parts for scheduled maintenance, repairs, or operational projects to ensure availability when needed. Coordinate materials for plant outages, equipment overhauls, construction, and commissioning activities to support uninterrupted operations. Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive electronics, control panels, PLCs, and other delicate components. Manage critical spare parts for turbines, engines, BESS components, and other high‑value equipment, maintaining accessibility for maintenance tasks. Prepare items for shipment or internal delivery, ensuring proper packing, labeling, and documentation for timely fulfillment. Participate in safety programs, perform hazard assessments, and identify obsolete, slow‑moving, or excess inventory to report to the Warehouse Supervisor for proper disposition. Perform additional projects as needed while ensuring all procurement, inventory, and warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety, and environmental regulations.
