This position involves overseeing custodial staff, coordinating daily cleaning and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for managing resources effectively, including equipment and supplies, to support smooth facility operations. They also serve as a key point of contact for addressing facility‑related issues and implementing improvements to enhance the work environment. Ultimately, this role ensures that the physical environment supports the overall business services by providing a clean, safe, and well‑maintained facility for employees and visitors. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in building maintenance or custodial supervision. Ability to lift and carry heavy weights safely and perform physically demanding tasks. Basic technology, device usage, and math skills Strong manual dexterity and physical agility to perform cleaning and maintenance duties effectively. Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications Certification in facilities management or related field. Experience with facility operations in a business services environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to custodial work. Previous experience in staff training and team leadership. Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all assigned facilities. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage inventory and order custodial supplies and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels. Train and mentor custodial team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Collaborate with facility management and other departments to schedule maintenance, repairs, and special cleaning projects. Other duties as assigned. Skills The Custodial Supervisor utilizes building maintenance skills daily to ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and well‑maintained. Physical agility and manual dexterity are essential for performing and overseeing tasks that require prolonged standing and walking, overhead reaching, lifting, and carrying heavy weights. Facilities management skills enable the supervisor to coordinate operations efficiently, manage resources, and maintain compliance with safety standards. Basic math skills are applied when managing inventory, ordering supplies, and tracking work schedules. Additionally, leadership and communication skills are critical for training staff, resolving issues, and collaborating with other departments to support overall facility operations. Job Type Full Time - In Person Work Schedule Regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM; schedule may vary based on operational needs.
