Job Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Urology • Job Type: Permanent • Location: East Chicago & Hobart, IN • Service Setting: Hospital/Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical Call • Coverage Period: Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday (flexible schedule) • On-Call Shift Schedule: 1:4 rotation • Call Type: Inpatient and outpatient coverage • Call Ratio: 1:4 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: Flexible clinic volume • Admissions: Included • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Included • Case Mix: General urology with opportunity to incorporate subspecialty interests FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic (HIMSS Stage VII) • Office Equipment Available: Full urology procedural capabilities • Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary physician network • Support Staff Available: Established physician group with mentorship support • Reason for Coverage: Growth / Expansion PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90–120 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Salary: Competitive (MGMA-based; negotiable) • Bonus: RVU and quality-based incentives • Sign-On Bonus: Available (negotiable) • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance • Retirement: 403(b) with employer match • CME: Generous CME allowance • Licensure: Reimbursement for license, DEA, CSR, dues • PTO: Approximately 6 weeks REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General urology procedures • Inpatient and outpatient urologic care JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Eligible for IN license • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology • DEA: Required • Other Qualifications: Ability to work in collaborative group practice DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide inpatient and outpatient urology care • Perform urologic procedures and surgeries • Participate in call rotation • Build and develop a personalized practice • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMRaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
