Job Location: 296 Austin Warehouse - Austin, TX 78744 Position Type: Full Time. Summary The individuals selected for this position are responsible for monitoring and supervising a team’s efficiency and ensuring company goals and objectives are being met by each employee. Responsibilities Knows and actively demonstrates daily our Company Mission Statement and our Core Values. Monitor employee productivity and performance expectations. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments. Ability to learn and perform subordinates job descriptions included but not limited to warehouse associates, driver, and cleaning crew. Maintain and teach organizational skills. Responsible for inventory integrity. Responsible for vehicle maintenance. Responsible for on‑time customer order delivery. Ensure product replenishment for daily volume needs. Partner with upper management for employee coaching and training. Create a weekly or bi‑weekly schedule for employees. Monitor and supervise employee's attendance and punctuality. Efficiently carry out all directives given by Management Team. Ensure a clean workplace. Work in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA. Possess time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks and meet the demands of the day. Availability to travel to local and state facilities as required. Attendance and timeliness is required; this is not a job you can do from home. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above satisfactorily. State law says you must be over the age of 21 to work at Spec’s. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education or Experience We prefer that you have 1-2 years of supervisory or relevant role, excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments. We would like you to have a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED), but sometimes experience is the best education. Language Skills We need you to be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos. You must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests. Computer Skills You should also be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. We expect you to be able to create scheduling and delegate tasks, plan meetings, share and configure calendars electronically. Mathematical Skills You need the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus. Attitudinal and Personal Skills You have the job. Now you need to do the job. You need to be responsible, reliable and committed to providing excellent service. Patience, friendliness and an outgoing personality are needed for success. You need to be a self‑starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task. We expect you to have the ability to work as part of the team, have a professional appearance and attitude. You should have the ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast‑paced environment. Hours Full Time is typically 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday. We schedule for the needs of our business. Working outside of your scheduled time without Store Manager approval is prohibited. You cannot make up hours without your manager’s prior approval. Reasoning Ability You need the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Knowing when to come in from the rain is a plus.
