Summary About the Position: Responsible for the overall daily management of the Enlisted Accessions Division of the Directorate of Military Personnel Management, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1 Army. Responsibilities Ensure policies are in place to ensure the proper influx of recruits into the Army to assist in meeting the Army's end strength requirements. Develop and/or defend requirements for Army Enlistment incentive programs. Perform data analytics using agency systems. Provide guidance to subordinates in the execution of assigned duties or responsibilities. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes responsibility for policy development and/or plans to assist in meeting the agency's end strength requirements; developing the execution of the strategy for gathering and/or analyzing data in order to drive meaningful results for the mission; leading the development of policy and/or management of programming, budgeting, and execution for incentive policy; and planning and/or directing the work to be accomplished. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
