Working within the Creative Services team the Social Media intern will gain insight into the nonprofit sector, cause marketing, communication practices, SEO, and ever evolving interaction between WaterFire and the community. Responsibilities The Social Media intern will provide support to the events and exhibitions at the WaterFire Arts Center and the WaterFire lighting events. Maintain WaterFire’s presence on various social media platforms (and our website) by researching and writing Regularly analyze and report on the activity on social media networks as well as our website and email marketing campaigns (work to adjust plans and strategies to optimize reach) Brainstorm campaign ideas in alignment with assessment of current and relevant trends (regularly monitor model brands/other organizations) Use Google Analytics (Facebook Insights, etc) to assess trends and activity on our accounts Grow WaterFire’s social networks by increasing our fan‑base and interactions Qualifications Have a curious mindset Excellent knowledge of the Google Workspace Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to combine creative campaign ideas with analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills Must have a working knowledge of using social media as an organizational communication too #J-18808-Ljbffr
