(USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop effective interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and Point of Sale systems; use phone and in‑person selling techniques. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the service experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions related to services safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to the TBC Lead; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers and process transactions; maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety and compliance standards; report safety hazards; complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored in accordance with company policies; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns. Minimum Qualifications Valid state‑issued driver’s license. 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Auto service industry experience. Retail experience. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
