Project Engineer

Job Details Job Location: Dallas Office - Dallas, TX 75247 At Datum Engineers, you won't spend years designing one small piece of a project from behind a screen. From day one, you'll work alongside experienced structural engineers, contribute to meaningful building projects, and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from concept through construction. You'll collaborate directly with clients, architects, contractors, and teammates to design structures that serve communities across healthcare, education, civic, cultural, and commercial markets. Along the way, you'll develop expertise in structural analysis, building codes, construction documents, field observation, and project delivery while working with a team that values mentorship, curiosity, and professional growth. Grow your career. Qualifications At a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. Master's Degree in Structural Engineering strongly preferred 0-5 years of experience: PE preferred if 4+ years Skills, Abilities & Qualifications Strong knowledge and understanding of fundamental engineering principles, structural behavior, and design of structural materials. Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills Good teammate, considerate, respectful, and supportive Self-motivated and willing attitude Ability to effectively process and present complex information to both internal and external groups Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory responsibilities Travel May require occasional travel Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
